Self-Care
Learning how to prioritize your needs and take time for yourself is key for healing and thriving.
Why Self-Care?
Self-care is self-love!
Better self-care decreases stress and improves your emotional and physical well-being. Taking care of yourself allows you to be a better caretaker for others and have happier and more fulfilling relationships.
How to Self-Care
Be intentional. Decide how much time you will devote each day to self-care.

Commit. Show up for your commitments to self-care. Even if it is 10 minutes, devoting that time to yourself is vital to thriving.

Make the time authentically yours. Do the activities, listen to the music, play the games you like.
What are boundaries?
Boundaries are limits and "invisible lines" we set for ourselves and others.
They are guidelines we set through experience, through self-reflection, through self-awareness.
They are the behavioral expectations we have of the people we interact with. It is a way to communicate to others how you will and won't tolerate being treated.
Setting Boundaries
Boundaries help us build happier, healthier relationships. They are also a crucial aspect of self-care!

Here are some tips to help set and maintain your boundaries:
-
Practice saying no
-
Communicate your needs openly
-
Trust your instincts
-
Know your limits and stick to them
-
Communicate why and how an action, behavior, or statement crossed your boundary
-
Discontinue a conversation when someone continuously crosses your boundary
-
Maintain your boundaries in all settings, even online
