Adult Advocacy Services

Advocates at Safe Space provide: 

Advocacy: advocacy options including counseling, resources, and referrals for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in conjunction with law enforcement, hospitals, and medical personnel to maintain confidentiality and safety for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.

Latinx Services: services includie information filing for Domestic Violence Protective Order (“DVPO”), information about the court system and court process, and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as they pursue civil and criminal remedies to domestic violence and sexual assault.

Court Assistance: providing information filing for Domestic Violence Protective Order (“DVPO”), information about the court system and court process, and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as they pursue civil and criminal remedies to domestic violence and sexual assault.

Safety Planning: providing information filing for protective orders, information about the court system and court process, and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as they pursue civil and criminal remedies to domestic violence and sexual assault.

Virtual Support Group: providing community building, support, skills, and resources in a biweekly, secure virtual meeting. Safe Space utilizes the Power to Change model to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence in learning and healing.
