With heavy hearts, we have lost our case manager Rhoza Lee. She has served over 8 years with our organization and was the corrdinator of the "Art Heals Project". Her unwavering dedication, compassion, and leadership shaped Safe Space into a beacon of hope.

Fonda Miller

We are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of our 1st executive director Fonda Miller. Her leadership in 1997 laid the foundation for the work we continue to do today. Her legacy lives on in every life we touch.
Jim Grove

With profound sadness, our chairperson of Safe Space, Inc. Jim Groves has passed. He gave his dedication to safe space for over a decade to create refuge of hope and healing for countless individuals and families. Jim was awarded the Governor's Award for outstanding volunteer service in 2001. He was named Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the year in 2008 and received the Governor's Medallion Award for Volunteer Service in 2018.
